When you receive your meals, you should place them in the fridge as soon as possible. Once in your fridge, meals are safe to enjoy on or before the ‘best before’ date on the label.
Do I need to be at home to receive my ready-made meals?
Factor caters for a hectic schedule, so you don't have to be at home to receive your meals! All meals are shipped in insulated boxes with cooling elements that will keep the box cool for a long time! Naturally, the boxes are thoroughly tested in all seasons and climates.
Keep in mind that it's normal for the cooling elements to be slightly melted when they arrive. This is because they release cold air into the box when they melt. The cold air quickly disappears when you open it, so you should put the meals in the fridge as soon as possible.
Meals should arrive at a temperature of 4 degrees centigrade or below. If your meals arrive above this temperature, please discard the meals and contact Factors customer service team for assistance.
